Liver Pate (Liver Spread)


1 lb beef liver, sliced into 1/2 inch thickness
1 lb beef, cut into 1-2 inch cubes
8 cloves garlic
1/2 Stick of butter, softened
1 cup beef broth
Salt and pepper to taste

  1. Fry liver on both sides.
  2. Cook beef cubes in enough water to cover the beef. Save 1 cup of the beef broth (use the rest in another recipe).
  3. Let everything cool slightly, then blend together in a food processor for about 5 minutes, or until well blended and no large chunks of meat are visible.
  4. Refrigerate.
  5. Serve on crackers or toast. Or if you're like me, eat it with a spoon.. like I am doing as I type this.. yummmmm
