Rags to Riches | Floor Lamps

     I picked these floor lamps up at a local thrift store.. right away I knew I was going to paint them white. As they were, they did not fit in with the farmhouse look.

     After painting them white, they kind of looked flat and plain.. so I thought about adding some antiquing wax to the grooves to give it some dimension..

     But didn't want to buy a can of tinted wax or try to make some.. so I borrowed this marker from Mr. Chickadee...

     Draw with the marker in the grooves,  then lightly wipe with a cloth.. repeat with all grooves.
I don't know if this is how it would look with wax, but I like the way it looks.
