Friday was Day 3

I am beginning to wonder when I am going to clean the bathroom?!

Day 1 went well!

I washed the dishes and shined my sink!

Well, its not shiny, but it is clean!
(we have an old scratched up white sink)

A little excitement happened afterwards too...

Anywhere I go, people say,
"Wow! You have your hands full!"
And then they ask,
"How do you keep up with all of them?
How do you get anything done?"
I just smile and shrug.

New Banner and Logo!!

I was looking to re-design my banner and logo for my crocheting business, it's nice to have matching facebook page, blog, etsy, business cards, labels, etc. I needed something I could re-size without losing pixels. I probably could have designed something myself, but I just don't have a lot of free time right now. So I went in search of a graphic designer, hoping to get e decent price.

Made a stunning veil for my little sister's wedding.

(Found the pattern in the Interweave Crochet Summer 2009 issue)

The first time I saw the pattern, I knew one day I would make it.

3 years later I offered to make it for my sister and she loved the idea!

Pinterest Project {and more}

I know I'm not the only one who is addicted to pinterest and pins away all sorts of project to do "later". And like many others, I have plenty of DIY projects on my boards to last me a life time!
So I decided I need to actually start making them.
And here is the first project that I made today.

Mr. Chickadee planted some strawberries, tomatoes and cabbages in the garden yesterday...
He bought the starters at a local street side market,
cleaned the dirt off of them and planted them right into the gravel.

     What is hydroponics? Hydroponics is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil. Plants may be grown with their roots in the mineral nutrient solution in gravel, mineral wool, or coconut husk.

Oodles has happened!

I can't believe how longs it has been since I blogged!!

It has been busy busy busy around here with school, holidays and preparing for a new baby.

I will quickly catch you up to speed on what I've been working on:
